In July, the lobby group Policy Exchange published a report claiming that XR is led by dangerous “extremists”. If you couldn’t give a damn about humankind and the rest of life on Earth, the police and the government will leave you alone. There would be no access to justice, no rights for workers, no defence against hunger and destitution, no weekends. If seeking to defend life on Earth defines us as extremists, we have no choice but to own the label.
